The federal judge overseeing the 3M military earplug MDL sharply rebuked the company for its motion to force all plaintiffs to immediately pay filing fees, Reuters reports. 3M said allowing plaintiffs to submit short forms without the typical $402 per case filing fee has caused the MDL to “explode” into the largest in history.
