Calling it a ‘fair and sensible” resolution, Michigan U.S. District Judge Judith Levy approved a $626 million settlement to the Flint water crisis suit, rejecting numerous objections and putting off a proposed $202 million in attorney’s fees to another date, Law 360 reports. Judge Levy said that the number of objectors was small in comparison to non-objectors to the settlement that would provide compensation to over 100,000 affected people.
